I currently have a Back-UPS XS 1000, and have been repeatedly hounded to upgrade this thing by APC and turn it in for another model ? I truly haven't had a single problem with it and it's only about 3 years old, yet I'm E-mailed and sent letters regularly. It's saved my bacon(computer) at the minimum 50 times in that three year span between having 2 toddlers push it over numerous times, pushing the button off and on numerous times, losing power from numerous storms in my area. I just wanted to say I wouldn't give this baby up for anything, and it's ran at peak for the entire three years too boot - no more gloating ! Nuff said - and no I don't work for APC ....
