About how early does the UPC warn me before I have to replace the battery? We have a couple that started beeping this afternoon. Will it be ok for me to wait until this weekend to change out the batteries?

Hi Dixie,
Batteries are hot swappable, so while UPS is online, you can also install the new battery on it.

Hi Dixie,
We recommend customer to replace battery once every 3 years, depending on how often the battery is being used. Can you tell us the exact model number so I can check the exact audible and LED status of the unit when it's asking for replacement battery.
I would also like to share this link about batteries.

i think most units try to give you about a month warning before the battery is completely toast. depending on the situation though, it could be a little sooner. one week should be fine though, just keep an eye on it. you may also experience a shorter runtime if the UPS does go to battery since its on its way out.

The units are SUA1500. I have the battery replacements, but I cannot replace the unit during business hours so I'll have to wait until this weekend. These were bought before my employment here so I don't know exactly how old they are.
