Hi,
I've just purchased a new UPS (BX1300-G ) and I'm trying to determine how long it needs to charge before I attach it to
my computer equipment?

Good day Mike,
An out-of-the-box UPS would have around 80~90% battery charged. You can immediately use the UPS without any problem. The only issue that you might see here is that since you do not have 100% battery charge, the runtime will be lower. It is also recommended that you keep it charging/plugged in for around 24 hours to reach 100%.
