High & Low Voltage Values for BX950U-AZ

Hi,

I just purchased the backup BX950U-AZ for my Samsung  Smart TV.  I might add that I  live in New Zealand where the house voltage is 230V. According to the PowerChute Personal Edition software, the high voltage value is set at 280V and the low voltage value is set at 155V.  Is  there any way I can change these values to 253V and 207V respectively (+-10% for 230V)?  The high and low voltage values as they are currently set would certainly destroy my TV.   Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for getting back to me.  Unfortunately, I found out about the high threshold preset after the fact, so I am stuck with it.  Return shipping to the online retailer would be too costly.

Hi,

With in PowerChute Personal Edition go to Configuration - Voltage. You can change the high and low voltage threshold there.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your reply.  I am aware of the voltage configuration area on the PowerChute  Personal  Edition software.  However, there is no option to change the high voltage value in the drop-down box, the only option is 280V.  The low voltage value has options for changing, but only as high as 160V.  The factory set values (and change options for the low voltage value) greatly exceed consumer electronic equipment tolerances.  If AVR  of this UPS is dependent on these values, then AVR  never  kicks-in to correct under and over voltages.  Am I correct in my thinking?  I do appreciate your insight and help.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I checked and for that unit the threshold is pre set to 280 and is not adjustable.

You should check with local support. They will help you find a unit that will meet your requirements.
