Hi everyone.
I have an UPS from APC "LS 700" (Serial: NB0140162004) the original battery it's gone so i bought a replacement (RBC17). But now, the UPS just works with the battery, the indicator led "online" is off BUT i can connect my printer there and the printer works...also if i connect my cpu and monitor on the battery's outlet they are on,..if i disconnect the UPS from the energy my printer goes off (obviusly) and my CPU and monitor keeps on til the battery runs out of energy. But if i keep connected the UPS to the power line the printer, CPU and monitor keeps on about 15 minutes because the battery runs out of energy even if the UPS is connected to the power line the UPS goes off ! ! ! And also i have installed the powerchute to see the status of my UPS and it says "just working with battery" or something...Does someone knows what is going on with my UPS ?
Thank you so much.
Best regards, Felipe

Thanks for the pictures. The voltage is 130 volts according to the UPS.
Can you check under Configuration and look at the settings for Voltage and Sensitivity. I am more interested in voltage to see what the transfer ranges are set to in there. I wonder if its going to battery since you're seeing 130V and it is more than the nominal 120V. It could be the voltage was even higher and has gone down but not cleared the hysteresis (like a buffer) window.
It also might be a good idea to see if the voltage is high as 127-130V in other outlets at your location.
Lastly, have you just tried turning off and then on? If the UPS won't turn back on, it doesnt like the power you'll have to cold start it which is holding down the power button until it starts on battery power.

Could you let us know when this stopped working specifically? Was it after you replaced the battery in the UPS?
Have you tried plugging the UPS into different wall outlets? What does PowerChute is the last transfer to battery reason? What does the input voltage show as?
A screenshot might be helpful of your PowerChute status by selecting current status on the left under Monitor System? See below for the screen I'd like to see or know the information from.

UPS connected to the Power Line and mode "ON"
Voltage on battery outlet and mode "ON"
Screen Capture PowerChute
I don't know exactly when just stop working properly.
Thank you

Hi, i am here once again.
The problem is that the UPS didn't saved the configuration that i made in the PowerChute or how does it works that ? i set-up the voltage at 135VAC as maximum and 106VAC as minium. I'm running the APC and the PowerChute shows 127VAC as before,
How can i save my configuration or how come that ?
Thank you
Best Regards.

once you set it and press Apply at the bottom of the screen, it should stay and remain saved on the UPS.
