Hi Manix,

Please follow the procedure on this kbase. We will try to de-energize the excess voltage from the circuit of the UPS and see what happens when you turn it on.

Fluctuation or distortion on the power flowing from the wall outlet can also be a cause to UPS to stay on battery.

I would suggest you to attach the UPS to a different wall outlet which is connected on a different service panel and see if UPS will stay on battery. You also have an option to adjust the sensitivity either manually or through the software. Installing the software can give you better monitoring of the UPS as well as with the quality of the power that's fed to it.

Please let us know the outcome

Hi Manix,

There should be a label on the LCD, please tell us what is indicated? Does it have audible alarm when it is lit?Are the loads connected to the UPS dropped when the LED is lit?

If you can provide us more detailed information about the UPS, that will be great!

I just did the brain drain procedure on the kbase site, and reconnected the battery again { plugged to another wall outlet}, still the orange light indicator lights steady .

and when i i tried to check the voltage output at the back of the UPS, tha rating voltage is 140 volts.

Any idea sir?

Good day and God Bless

Hi Manix,

Good day!

BK650-AS is an ASEAN unit which is rated 230VAC. So I am confused when you said it's 140V. Well the unit will switch to battery power when it doesnt see the correct voltage required, or if there's dirty power coming from the wall outlet. I would say, the input voltage should match the voltage rating of the unit for it to get back to online mode.

Regarding schematics you may refer to this kbase. Should you have any further question, please let us know.

By the way, it's ma'am. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Hi Manix,

Can you provide me the serial number of this UPS (in pivate)? Do you have software to monitor this UPS? If you have used different wall outlet and you have a good input power, from the software, you have tried different sensitivity settings and still doing the same thing. I would guess UPS is faulty.
