For the BR1xxx-MS Pro series UPS, what determines/sets the VA rating and run-time in the unit?
The new BR1xxx-MS series appears to have the same base unit for the 1000-1500VA models.
I have a new BR1500-MS that is replacing an older model, time to upgrade to one that has true sine wave output. I noticed in the manual covers the models listed above, but each model requires a different APC RBC battery pack.
What are the differences in the battery packs and what sets/determines the run-time in these units?
The ampere-hour rating of the battery pack or hardware/firmware in the models?
