We have 4 x Smart-UPS 500 (SCL500RM1UNC)
all running the stock ID1029UPS 02.5 firmware
These need updating to a newer firmware, to add support for newer TLS standards. Otherwise the web interface isn't opening on HTTPS.
My attempts to go to the latest ID1029UPS 15.1, results in the error "Rated Output Voltage set failed".
Is there a recommended upgrade path via interim firmware versions? Or is there a solution to fix this error.
Many thanks

All four UPSs upgraded successfully to NMC v7.0.8.
This fixed the error message on the other firmware, although I haven't upgraded yet due to them needing to go offline to upgrade.
The HTTPS connection was still broken after this, but deleting the Web -> SSL Certificate and rebooting fixed this issue as well.
Many thanks for the help

Hi @gmax
May I please know what method did you use to upgrade the UPS firmware? Regarding the HTTPS issue, may I know the exact issue that you are having as well as the browser that you are using and the firmware loaded on the network management card?
There is two firmware for your UPS, the UPS, and the NMC firmware.

Certainly...
The update was done through the HTTP web interface. I also tried through the Windows app, that didn't work either, although I don't remember the error message.
The HTTPS version of the interface won't open in either Firefox or Edge (Chromium) on Ubuntu 22.04, and returns the error:
Secure Connection Failed
Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR
I'm only guessing it's an error related to TLS version as it similar to another issue we had.
The network card details are:

Were you able to upgrade the firmware? I updated the NMC but it still gives me the voltage error when I try to update the firmware.
