I powered down ups for several days and then powered it back up to find the master outlet power is lost. I can detect voltage but once I plug in the computer it gets no power. is there a reset I need to perform to get the outlet out of its trip mode?

Sorry for the delay. In the user's guide, there is reference to working with master/controlled outlets and how to enable and disable.

You can also try resetting the unit and starting over. To do this, turn off any attached load plugged into the UPS and remove it. Turn off the UPS itself and unplug it from the wall. Then, disconnect the battery in the UPS and hold down the power button for 20 seconds. Reconnect the battery, plug the UPS back in, turn it back on, and follow the instructions on enabling/disabling master controlled outlet.
Hope that helps.
