I just changed one of my UPS' to a new USB unit (previously hooked up via serial). On the PC I was running Powerchute Business 7 agent under Windows 7. I am trying to uninstall the agent so I can install Personal edition on this machine. I am getting the following errors when I try to uninstall -
Error Code: -5009 : 0x8002802b

Is it possible to post these instructions here? This installation is in my house and I don't often have the opportunity to call during normal business hours. I was using a Smart-UPS but the unit failed and I replaced it with a Back-UPS - hence my need to uninstall Business Edition and install Personal Edition. Thanks.

I suggest that you call APC Technical Support for them to guide you on how to manually remove PCBE. Also, if you are using an APC Smart-UPS the recommended software is PowerChute Business Edition. PowerChute Personal is for our BackUPS product line.
