Hi,
I have been using a ES 700 for two years as an UPS for my ReadyNas. Now, the ES 700 won't power on any more. When I press the button, nothing happens. If I press and holds, the green light sometime turns on, sometimes not. Sound indication varies from a single beep indicating that everything is fine, to a rapid beeping. Or just nothing.
Also, when this happened the first time, my Readynas warned me that the battery level on the UPS was critical low and every time I try to turn the UPS on now, my Readynas sends a new email about low battery levels.
There is no red light telling me that the battery needs to be changed, but what else can it be? I have power on the surge arrest outlets.
