ES 750 controlled outlets intermittent

I have had my ES 750 for about a year. When I first got it, I tried to set up some of my peripherals on the controlled outlets without success. So I just forgot about it, and I turn the UPS on and off with the main switch, which will probably fail sooner or later due to the number of cycles. So I decided to try again to make it work. Well, I have my PC plugged into the Master outlet, my monitor, and two small transformers (one is for the little desktop speakers, the other is for a USB hub) plugged into the controlled outlets. I turn the PC on, and the controlled outlets come on as they should. Then, while my PC is starting up, the controlled outlets go off, and come back on in an instant. After the PC is up and my program(FSX) is loading, the same thing happens again. After FSX is up and stable, everything is fine,,,,,for a little while(5 to 10 min.), then the controlled outlets "drop out " again, and come back on. I have tried all three power level settings for the Master(which is not the problem) with no success. SO, I'm back to turning the switch on and off again,,,which is a real pain, because the UPS is way back under my desk. I have to use a walking stick to turn it on and off. I have spent considerable time scouring these forums, but I have yet to find a simular post or answer.(I'm probably not too good at "scouring" forums)
My power is pretty smooth(1 to 3 volt cycle over a 5 minute period,, I watch it on another brand UPS on my other computers), so I don't think that's the problem. I have had three other APC UPS devices that served well, but I outgrew them.
I bought the ES 750 mainly for the Master control function, because of the location it had to go into. Other than this problem, the unit has performed well through a few "dips", and one or two short outages in the past year. But I would like to get this resolved, I'm getting too old to be climbing under my desk every time I want to use this computer 🙂
I would appreciate any help, advise, or even comments on the subject. Thanks group.

Thanks clarkson. Yes I've tried all the power levels, several times. It seems that any slight drop in power consumption causes the unit to"think" the master was turned off. It's not worth the cost, or hassle to return the unit for warranty work. Wonder if there are schematics floating around for these ? I'll probably just shop around and buy another brand and if it doesn't work, take it back to the store before the return period expires.
That's what I should have done with this one, but I was putting together a new system and got in a hurry 🙂
Thanks again.
