ES-650 Alert On and Red Flashing light. Battery tested OK. What to do?

We tested the battery on a voltage meter and it is fine but the UPC is making the sound alert and the red light is flashing. What is happening? Can I disconnect the alert sound?

what is the specific model number off the white sticker on the UPS? we have BE650G and BE650R.

i'd review page one under status indicators if you're getting a constant tone. did this just start all of a sudden or what's the back story? what was the battery voltage? how do you know its fine?
