Dysfunctional APC Back UPS 700VA
Hi,
The LED indicator on the unit keeps alternating between amber/green and beeps every 2 seconds, i.e., whenever switching of the color happens. Just FYI, I've been using the same unit for a little more than 3 years now and it was working fine till a recent flurry of power outages that has been occuring in the city I currently reside in. The model I'm using is an APC Back-UPS es 700. I've read from an earlier post on this forum referring to the same issue to which the reply was to change the battery inside.
My question is, what battery should I go for? Kindly help me with the specifications I should be looking for.
Also, is it completely mandatory that I use an APC battery itself or would another brand do just in case sourcing an APC replacement battery cell would be trouble?
