Hi, my Back-UPS BX1500LCD has short runtime (supposed to be ~1 hour for the load I'm using) but only lasts 45 minutes. I checked the battery and there is a crust on the cell caps. Can I get the battery replaced?

Hey there,
Your best bet is to call in to technical support at 800-555-2725 so you can discuss the battery issue and provide your serial number so they can take a look at the unit. If the battery seems to be venting or anything like that you would want to stop using it in the interim before contacting them. Also make sure it is in a properly ventilated area.
