Connecting UPS to PC and NAS storage at the same time

I just bought a BE750G UPS for my ReadyNAS NV storage unit. It works great so far and the storage is able to directly communicate with the UPS. That is the intended configuration but I was wondering if there was a way to take advantage of the supplied software which is intended for a PC and provides much more details about the UPS than my storage unit can display. Is there a way to have the UPS communicate with both devices?
