I bought a UPS 350 three years ago. It came with Powerchute 1.5. The unit recently stopped working. Today I bought the UPS 750 with Powerchute 2.2.1. My dell computer had/has Windows Vista.
I've tried to uninstall the 1.5 with the the Windows uninstall program. Each time I get the following message
Error Loading C:\PROGRA ~1\COMMON ~1\INSTAL ~1\engine\6\INTEL3 ~1\Ctor.dll The specified module could not be found.
I tried uninstalling it in safe mode and got the same error. I tried to install the 2.2.1 software, but it says it detects the older version and tell me to uninstall it first. So i can't install it since I can't delete the older version.
Can someone help me on what to do here?
Thanks
Don
