Can i connect my UPS to wall socket using this extension cord?

I have an APC Back-Ups 1100BX-IN which i cannot connect to my wall socket due to its short wire and the manual says not to use power strips or surge protectors but i got this custom made extension cord with a fatter wire than the UPS itself image:http://imgur.com/a/VnC0Zkp

So far it runs quite well for my T.V. and vaccum cleaner(1400w) but i wonder if it is safe to connect my UPS with it?

Hello,

Connecting a UPS to an extension cord is not recommended. Doing so will void any warranty and the equipment protection policy. Also, using an extension cord with a UPS my violate electric code.
