I have bought a CS500 (BK500EI) for office use. The USB to RJ45 cable provided in the box allows connection to PC, but this is not acceptable long term because there are not enough USB sockets, required for other devices. Would prefer to connect to network via cat5 cable, but when I do this, the UPS is not visible on network.

The port is not a network connection. It is designed to work with the provided USB cable.
NOTE: The port is RJ50. The difference is RJ45 has 8 pins, while RJ50 has 10 pins.

Is there another method to monitor UPS health without available USB connection?
