CPU Usage in Vista after installing ES350

I have recently installed a new computer (Dell Optiplex 330) with an Intel2 Duo CPU E4600 @ 2.4 GHz. and 4.0 GB RAM.

I am watching the CPU usage and notice that it is constantly staying at 50%
I can stop the Mainserv.exe process and it will return to the normal 5-10% level.

Does anyone know what is causing this issue?

Thanks for the info --- The software that came with the "New" APC from my local computer store came with 1.5

I'l go get the new update.
