I recently purchased a APC CP12036LI lithium-ion Mini Back-UPS Connect 12V and the enclosed adaptors do not fit my BT Smart Hub 2 power socket (rated input 12V 1.5A). Have I got the wrong UPS or is a suitable adapter available? Thank you for any help available.

I have the same issue with a TP-Link Router, how did you resolve? I am close to sending mine back!

I contacted the Tech Support (0800 279 9254). The official response from them is to "Tough you need to buy your own adapter or send it back!". I explained that the BT Hub, Vrigns and Plusnet Hubs where common in the UK. They had no response. I believe the adapter I need is "5.5mm x 2.1mm Female to 6.3mm x 3.0mm Male Plug Tip DC Power Adapter converter" which is a £3-5 depending on where you source it from. This is my 3rd APC UPS device. I think this is very poor behaviour for a device that is "fits most Routers".
