I'm confused on how this all works, we bought a APC Battery Back-Up.
BN900M labeled on box with 6 battery+surge and 3 surge only.
It instantly shut off last night with no warning and it won't come back on. I already followed all troubleshoot options and I'm waiting for it to charge. After a while I turned the power back on and it flashes green and beeps forever before shutting off so I'm letting it continue since it didn't do that before.
What's the point if the battery will get used first, drain, and not the wall? We got it so the PS4 won't shut off and get corrupted but that happened anyways.
Edit: Tried turning it back on to test it and now nothing happens. No lights, nothing, again only surge works.
Edit: now when I touch the power it flashes green then screams and shuts off. After about 8 hours it didn't seem to get much charge 😕
Edit: So refuses to turn on again and eventually it did with the same result, I count the flashes and it flashes green 15 times each time before shutting off with the constant beep, dang thing was $100
