Hi
I got a new BX750MI Back-UPS.
1) According to the attached picture, is the yellow battery connector enough pushed? I can start the UPS but I would like to avoid any battery disconnection because of bad contact.
2) If I need to disconnect the battery, do I just need to pull the connector strongly?
Thanks in davance for your feedback.

Apologies for the delay in my response, I have checked with our UPS Experts and was advised that if it doesn't get fully inserted we just need to make sure that it makes contact to close the circuit.

Thank you for reaching out to the SE Community, my name is Jon and I will assist you with this query.
I strongly suggest that you try to push it in more. The metal shouldn't be exposed and the yellow plastic should seal it.

Thanks

Hi @Abdullah07
Why do you say the battery is dead? The UPS is new. My only concern is about the battery connector type which is different from my former BX700UI. With the old model the connector was completely pushed into the UPS body. This doesn't look the same with the new connector type on the BX750MI (do you confirm @JonPro ?).
Regards

I found a video on how UPSs that use this kind of battery connector is being used. You can skip to the 0.10 seconds mark of the video.

So I have the same problem and I still don't know if I should try to push it more or it should stay like in the picture from first post?

I had the same Issue. The yellow battery connector does not get fully into the UPS.
I searched many posts about this issue and found out that it is OK.
Strange design, but the UPS works great.

Just got a new BX750MI-FR and I could not get push the connector all the way in. After 24hours of charging I connected a printer and the UPS started beeping. Removed the printer and tried to push in the connector further, this time I succeeded, but after connecting a rinter the beeping sounds came back. I have no windows laptop to install Powerchute. Is there another way to check the battery?
