Battery Dead after 4 month OFF

Hi all.. my APC shows that the battery is dead of something like that . the APC BR1500G was in the cellar for 3 month.. 

yesterday when power on the UPS show that the battery is without charge ... 10 hours later the battery send the same error. is that normal? is the battery dead?

Hi,

It is possible that the battery needs to be replaced. It is expected that a battery will need replacement in 3 to 5 years depending on service level and environment. How old is the battery? If 3 or more years old it should be replaced.
