Back Ups Pro 1500 APC

Please help, I just bought a Back Ups Pro 1500 APC and it has been connected to the electricity all day but the battery indicator is blinking and it it is empty, it has not charged at all...not even one bar. How do I charge the battery? It is plugged into the outlet (electricity) and it has a moden and a router connected to it. Do I have to turn it off completely for it to charge?

Did you followed instructions? Did you peel off stickers and connected batteries to the unit? If you did, there must be an internal problem with unit's inverter / battery charger. That's my guess based on info you provided.

Oh my Gosh, I feel so embarrases...lol, do you mean the yellow sticker that is on the outside of the battery cover? I did not...I attached the picture of the sticker for you to see it. Do you mean the battery is inside the unit but it has to connected?

Thank you so very much, you're the best! I removed the stickers and followed the instructions, connected the battery and now the baterry indicator is full.

I have one more question though...I don't understand what the different levels of sensibility are. I have connected my laptop, two monitors, the modem and the router.

You're very welcome. Sorry for my english, it's far from perfect, though. I'm glad you understood me. 🙂

As it looks, there are three options to choose.
High, Medium, and Low. Just read the notes. Choose option that suits your equipment.

For example, I have connected a desktop PC, LED monitor, wireless headphones, audio receiver (tuner and amplifier), and few adapters for various equipment. Medium sensitivity is more than fine for my equipment.

Sensitivity just pertains to the UPS sensitivity to input power. I'd leave it on the default (High) unless you have a problem with "dirty" input power such as during a power outage, if you use a generator. In a situation like that, your UPS would be unhappy with the power quality and likely switch to battery frequently or constantly operate on battery. Otherwise, this setting shouldn't be of concern to you if everything is operating normally. The typical user has no issue with it on high. Changing it to medium or low will not subject your attached equipment to anything bad either.
