Back-UPS producing long beep

i have a Back-UPS ES-500 unit (6 years old) and suddenly producing long beep sound.

i already checked the UPS and did the following actions:

    • replace with working battery

    - still producing long beep sound

    - units attached to UPS will shutdown once the beep occurs

    • checked the motherboard

    - no burn smell 

    - all cables are intact

is there any procedure that i can do?

or is my motherboard got defective due to long used?

Hello,

A constant tone coming from this unit indicates one or all of the outlets on the battery back up side are overloaded. I would recommend removing some of the connected equipment to see if the tone will stop.
