Back-UPS XS 1500 (BR1500G) model and Windows 2012R2 issue

Please excuse me if this has been covered before.

When I install Powerchute Business edition agent, the unit is detected. When I install the server portion and try to add the detected agent under the device list configuration I receive an error stating that it failed to apply the configuration profile to my machine name.

I uninstalled all components and reinstalled them making sure that the username and password for the agent and the server matched. No effect.

At this point, in the event of a power failure, will the machine shut down gracefully?

Please advise.

Hi Harry,

You need to use powerchute personal edition with the ups that you have. The business edition is not compatible with our back ups product line.
