Hey guys!
So I have a Back-UPS Pro 550, for which I changed the battery, because the old one had no more than 11.7v and it wasn't charging.
I ordered a new battery and after 2 days, I had no more than 2 lines on the UPS display so I have opened it today and changed the 2 capacitors that were 330uF 35v with new ones, the same characteristics (the one closed to the side was popped).
Turned it on and inserted the new battery (Yuasa, the old one was the same model) and it still doesn't look like it's charging it.
Usually, how much should take for a full charge?
I tried to measure the volts on the red & black wires that connect to the battery and I get 0v. Should I had 220v or the battery voltage? If I measure the battery outside of the UPS, I have around 12.8v
Is there anything that I'm missing? I've read something about changing the date of the new battery in the firmware? How is that done, keeping in mind I only have a Mac, no Windows.
Thank you!

When the system is charging the battery cartridge the input voltage will be 14.XX VDC. When the system is floating the battery the voltage will be 13.6 ~ 13.8 VDC.
You will NOT measure 220 VAC at the battery terminal. ☝️
You may install APCUPSD / NUT software if you don’t have a Windows computer to run APC Power Chute Software to reset the battery installation date.
Once the battery installation date has been updated manually initiate a Self Test and let pass and recover.
Follow up with completing a battery calibration with at least 30% attached load. Let this process complete and the system recharge the new battery cartridge.
