Hello,

It's been 2 days since I have a problem with my ES 700.
At times when I try to turn it on, it beeps long and does not light. The LED remains off. The PowerChute software was overloaded while I have nothing to plug in the UPS since the problems appeared. I removed all my devices from the UPS.
When finally I can turn it on, it switches permanently from battery mode to the mains mode with sizzling or moment of the rocker.
I tried the reset but to no avail.
The battery looks good according to PowerChute software.

I think the inverter is HS.

Do you have an idea ?

Have you ever changed the battery?  Sounds like what happens when a battery finally dies.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer, but i just changed the battery by a new one and I still have a problem of overcharging battery while I have nothing to brigger on the back-ups.

Another idea ?

Did you get a genuine apc battery?  Sometimes the third-party ones are out of spec and cause weirdness.
