Hello
Please can you tell me the correct min/max voltage settings to select in the Parachute software? I was poking around in the software finding where to turn off the beep when on battery (which I did) and discovered these settings are at 180V/266V. Are these defaults? I also noticed the sensitivity level at medium, which I have set to high for maximum protection.
The UPS is protecting a router and a small Qnap NAS.
I should mention, I've not had any issues with the unit in its 9 year life. In fact, I don't think it's had a new battery in all that time so have just ordered one!
Thanks
Jamie

Hi Jamie,
The voltage ranges you have listed will determine when the UPS switches to battery in the of a brownout or an over voltage. Once the Back UPS detects that the input voltage is lower than 180v or higher than 266v it will switch to battery power.
The voltage range listed above will safely protect your NAS. If you are worried by this range though you could narrow the range but this could result in your Back UPS going on battery power more often.
Regards,
Tom
