Hi,
Got a problem with a brandnew CS650. The device changes to the battery every few seconds for some seconds. The line voltage is stable at 230V. The output below was generated just 10 minutes after apcupsd was started. Strange are STATUS, LASTXFER(wrong) and NUMXFERS. The following values are consistent but appear somehow questionable.

The exact model is CS650-EI.
I don't have a Windows system at hand, but apcups indeed allows to change the sensitivity. It is set to medium however and I can rule out that something funny happens on the line: I even put the CS650 behind another UPS on battery. Still the same behaviour. Next thing would be to have a look at the voltage with a scope, but I think it is not necessary.

Hi Hobit,
If you have a Windows based Operating system you can install the PowerChute Personal Edition software on it and hook up the UPS through USB and change it's sensitivity settings to a much more lower settings.
Can you provide the exact model number of your UPS as well?

apcupsd may allow you to change the sensitivity too but i am not sure how to do it on there. i have to assume that the UPS is seeing something that is causing it to transfer.
