Back-UPS Battery Pack (for APC Pro 1500)

When you go into the APC battery replacement system and you ask for what battery's you should buy for APC UPS Battery Pack (that you use to add extra the tower system (this unit: http://www.apc.com/shop/ca/en/products/APC-Back-UPS-Pro-External-Battery-Pack-for-1500VA-Back-UPS-Pr...).  They don't list any batteries to replace it.

From what I can see on the internet it looks like it just has 4 batteries inside it. So what do you need to buy to replace them?

Hi,

We do not sell replacement batteries for the BR24BPG. Outr recommendation is to replace the entire battery pack. You may be able to find 3rd party replacement batteries but they would not be supported by Schneider Electric technical support. The pack contains Qty 4 9Ah 24v batteries.

They are 24V not 12V batteries?

The APC Pro 1500 uses two 12V setup as a single 24V.  So this is 4 individual 24V batteries and not two sets of 12V setup as 24 like in the Backup Pro 1500?

(I am just shocked that you have this 24V battery and everything else looks to be a 12V.)
