Back-UPS BX950U-GR Strange Noise

Hello guys,

I 've recently (3days ago) purchased a Back-UPS BX950U-GR for my gaming set up (tower-monitor-router) , and when the box came to me with some kind of Courier, the 1st thing I ve noticed was that when I took the unit outside of its box , I could hear a strange noise coming from inside of it like something big was moving but not in a great distance ( I mean the moment i was carrying it with my hands and changed its angle in order to carry it) , like something was a bit loose.

-Is this normal for a brand new unit ? And if it does , I would appreciate to know whats causing this kind of noise.

There should be no movement of anything inside the UPS.

I would suggest contacting your local tech support on 1 800 11 62 900.

I spoke with the department of apc in Greece they gave me clear instructions about what to do .
