My vacuum cleaner failed (on switch shorted) and tripped my home RCDs. After I rebooted it the one UPS kept beeping every 45 sec or so. Seems like it is only providing battery power to sockets not mains AC. Is there a reset? Mine is an older model with only one power button. No other indicators are flashing, just the regular beep.

also, probably obvious but make sure the outlet your UPS is plugged into is providing electricity.

I would try to turn the UPS off, unplug it from the wall, and then remove the battery for about a minute. Then, reconnect the battery, and plug the UPS in and turn it back on. That is about as much "reset" as you can do with this unit. Can you verify it is BP700UC or similar? (There is a white sticker on the back or bottom with the UPS model and serial number).
Can you also clarify what exact LEDs you see on the unit and they are solid or flashing? You can also try to connect the UPS to a different wall outlet in your location, just to see if any change in behavior.
