We have several of these boxes in the office.
Co-workers are telling me that when they come in in the morning (they come in before I do) the Back-UPS 600 at my desk is giving off a long, continuous beep with no indication lights.
Pressing the power button stops the beep and allows the unit to power up.
This has happened three times in two weeks.
Each time, I have to power up my PC.
This is a relatively new box. Only a few months old.
Any advice?

Hi Michael,
The audible alarm you are describing would typically represent either an overload alarm, or a bad/disconnected battery. Pressing the power button on the unit acts as a temporary mute feature. To better assist you, could you provide the exact model and serial number of the unit? This will be on a white sticker with two bar codes, either located on the back or bottom of the unit. I would also be helpful to know when and where the unit was purchased, along with what devices you have attached to the unit.
