BX2200MI-GR thinks it is using full load with just light connected
I am having issue which started with losing electricity for spit second, 5min before that i also lost electricity for a moment but ups worked fine/as expected.
I am having issue with my ups, when i connect something to it like lights which is not even turned on, it thinks that it is at max load and it think it is also disconnected from power when it happens(shows 0v input and that it is charging) but it doesnt die - at least that is what i see in powerchute when ups is connected to pc via usb + fan is full speed and beeping.
If i dont plug anything in ups and disconnect it from power, it starts beeping, fan full speed (that is normal) and after few seconds it just shuts down, similar how it would be when there is some load on it and batteries are bad, cannot keep load.
Additional thing, when i first time connected ups to pc after issue appeared, it was showing that its load is 200-250w without anything connected it, which seemed high, later on after few self tests and turning it on and off, load went to 70-85w which seems makes more sense when battery is charging, but still i dont think it should be that high. I havent tested it before what exactly is the load when it is charging and if it shows any load at all.
Also before this, i had different issue that ups was kind of not functioning normally at all. When i connected it to power but did not turn it on, fan went at full speed. If i turn it on, still was at full speed, seemed like it does self test as usually when turned on but self test failed, constant sound. Just to note, I would say at this time ups was cold, it was like 8h after issue appeared, I am noting this because right after issue appeared i was having same thing, fan at full speed when it is just connected to electricity, then i assumed that okay, maybe something is too hot there and that is why it is still running. Anyway, i did something, dont know, maybe somehow reset it, clicked button differently when turning it on or off and it started functioning normally, at least it seemed like that and did not have this issue again. (just to remind, all this was before noticed that full load issue when something is connected).
Also to note, batteries are 3 months old, both over 13v, dont think batteries could cause that full load issue...
Any ideas what could be issue here? I am sorry, my english is not super good.
