Hello everyone,
I would like to know, about BX1600MI-GR Back-UPS, if the integrated fan is turned on only in AVR boost mode and in battery mode, or if it always turned on, even in normal operation.
Additionally, if necessary, is it possible to clean the fan grid with a low-power vacuum cleaner?
Thanks for the answers.

Every APC UPS behaves slightly differently so to know exactly what behaviour is present you’ll need to either demo / purchase the unit.
As it relates to using a vacuum on a running fan - No! 🤦♂️

Thanks; about the cleaning, of course I meant vacuuming the fan when the UPS is powered off. Isn't it advisable in that case either?

If you intend to clean the fan once the hardware is completely powered down. Stick a none conductive item inside to hold the fan in place.
You can than use a vacuum cleaner remove any build up / debris. 👍
