I have BX1500LCD UPS for a couple of years now and all of a sudden i keep getting the Battery Disconnected message with Dit Ditting sounds for about 10 secnds and then i get the Batter Re-Connected message and then about 2-60 seconds later the process repeats again and again and again.
The terminals of the battery are great. I have not had any power outages for multiple months.
PowerChute Personal shows the remaining charge as 100% with a status of charged when it connected.
I don't think it is the battery but...... *{color:#ff0000}does anyone have any suggestions??????{color}*

Hi
You can also use a voltmeter to measure the battery to see if its bad, the ideal float charge for the battery is around 24-27Vdc. If what you were able to measure is nowhere near let's say 24 Vdc, then that's probably the reason the unit is not detecting the battery at times.

Have you replaced the battery since you've had it? This usually means the battery needs to be replaced or the connection is loose. If the connection is fine but the battery hasn't been replaced, I would recommend getting a new battery. The replacement battery would be a APCRBC109.
