BX1400U-GR estimated battery time is too low?

Hi,

I have BX1400U-GR and I see that BX1400U-GR should have 50Watt > 1 hour 45 minute , 100 Watt > 25 minute , 280 Watt > 18 minute.

Mine, however, acts like this;  50Watt > 40 minute , 100 Watt > 15 minute , 280 Watt > 4-5 minute.

I already send it to warranty and they changed the batteries(they told me this). But the problem persists. At this point I use my apc for modem+samsung 22'monitor+PC. Could it be program is wrong? Anyone knows a similar issue? Thanks!

This is a 230V model so the calculations are a bit different than with 120v power.  I found this runtime chart for 120v units and if my thinking is correct that the va will be higher with a 230V at 55w, then your runtime would be significantly less.  Of course, this is just an off the cuff assessment.  I haven't had a chance to do the calculations behind my hunch.

How are you measuring the load?  Because if your load is higher, then it would die quicker.

From the data you've provided, I'm almost certain that your load is simply higher since there is basically a 1.6-3.6x difference in times across all data points.

Hi, I measure the load with PowerChute Personal Edition. At the moment it says I use 63 - 70 watt and I have 30minutes left. (watt changes faster).

I am using only chrome on pc + 22' low brightness monitor + a modem which should take 5-8 watts. And I am left with 30 minutes? Isn't that low for 1400U?
