I recently bought a BX1300LCD (1300VA). I was going to exchange it for the BX1500LCD, but it appears that the battery capacity is the same. If you compare the half-load and full-load, it appears the run-times would be the same, if under the same load.
Is it true that BX1500LCD uses same capacity battery?
BX1300LCD
Typical Backup Time
Half Load 18.4 minutes (390 Watts)
Full Load 6.4 minutes (780 Watts)
BX1500LCD
Typical Backup Time
Half Load 16.0 minutes (432.5 Watts)
Full Load 5.3 minutes (865 Watts)

As the batteries are still prototypes, I can only comment based on what I knew of the BX 1200 and 1500 prior to the LCD series. Both used the same batteries, so the ~40W difference in capacity based on loads seems accurate for the runtime. Just because it's 200VA, does not mean it is also 200W.
