BX1300G - distance recommendations from PC location

Just purchased BX1300G. Is there a required or recommended location distance from computer location? It's currently place under my desk. My laptop sits on my desk, approx 1ft from the UPS. Is there any potential harm to my computer?

Hi -

If the monitor has some distortion it is advisable to move the UPS at least 3 feet away as stated on Knowledge Base ID [6749|http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6749/kw/distortion]. As long as the UPS has an adequate space for ventilation everything should be fine.
