i'm in damaged areas after the tornados. i have a cheap 800w inverter (not pure sine wave) connected to bx1000g. i had to reduced the "sensitivity" to get the ups to use the AC from the inverter. Does the bx1000g not clean up dirty power? I also noticed that my DSL modem will not work properly if the ups is taking AC from the inverter. once i diconnect the inverter, and the ups is running on battery, then the modem works as necessary.
thanks
troy

Hi bama67skies, for the most part these unit pass the power through when the unit is online. If the load itself is sensitive to the type of power it is getting (ie the sine wave type) the the bx unit will not correct this for the load attached.
