BR900GI outlet 7

I've connected a HUB to my BR900GI outlet No 7 as shown in the Manuel's page 2.

To this HUB I've connected only a Hard Disc via USB connector .

My iMac was in ShutDown position and the HUB and the HD  isn't connected to any product.

The HUB received and  deliver Power to the HD but  according to the BR900GI Manuel, it should not deliver power at all. 

Can you advise me please what is the problem ?

Is OutletS #6 controlled by Master outlet ?
