BR1300G Sometimes wont power on

I have a BR1300G when i shut it down during a storm and unplug it sometimes it wont come back on when i plug it up pressing the power button gives me 2 beeps and it wont even cold start however removing the battery and reinstalling it seems to remedy this for a short period of time is my unit faulty????

Should I RMA my UPS ?

Was there any indication on the display when it beeps?. Seems like an battery issue. Do you have an identical UPS to try swap the battery to isolate an UPS fault or the battery?
