Hello all,
I currently have the following two UPS:
BR1200 (with RBC32 battery)
BR1500 (with RBC33 battery)
Question: can I use RBC33 battery in the BR1200?
If so, will it extend its runtime?
Thanks.

hmph.. well, thats interesting. I have a feeling the manual is wrong. I will bring this to the attention of those who need to know, and find out what is what. Thanks for the info. For the moment, I would go by the APC website, and stick with the RBC32 for the BR1200 and RBC33 for the BR1500.
I have a feeling that the decision to use the same manual for the 1200 and 1500 came after the manual had been created for the 1500, and the battery part may have been overlooked.
Thanks NumberOne.

Hello,
The BR1500 can use the BR24BP to add extra runtime. The BR1200 cannot use the RBC33 because there is a different amp/hr rating for the battery, which will disrupt the charging circuits in the BR1200. The BR1200 can only use the RBC32.
Thanks.
