BP500LS enough?
I am using a BP500LS for a 42-inch LCD TV, DVD, audio receiver and DirecTV receiver. The batteries seem to last 12-18 months, which leads me to think I need to upgrade. Any suggestions?

The load on the unit shouldn't have much of an effect on battery life. I would make sure the unit has adequate ventilation of at least a few inches on each side. This is simply to keep the unit cool. If the unit is getting hot, it will degrade the battery life significantly.
