I have a BN600G UPS and we recently had a twelve hour (approx) power outage. The unit allowed my pc to execute a graceful shut-down. As I had to go to work, I left everything as is and when I returned the UPS' green LED was blinking and it was clicking about every half second.
I can't get it up and running again even after letting the unit recharge for more than a night and a day.
There is power through the surge protected outlets but none through the battery backed-up outlets.
Does anyone know what can be done to get it operational?
The unit is about a year and a half old.
Thanks,
John

This sounds like some sort of internal fault. (Unless it was particularly old stock when you bought it, I'd not expect the battery to be bad. And I've never seen a bad battery produce the kind of behavior you're seeing.)
No older than it is, this unit should be covered under APC's warranty. I'd call up their technical support using whatever phone number is appropriate for your part of the world, and let them take care of it.
