BN1500M2 powering on but not outputting power

Hi! I just picked up a BN1500M2 to use in my home. After connecting the battery and plugging in my devices to the UPS, I plugged it into the wall. It powers on, seems to charge the battery, and passes self tests, but it is not outputting any power. I've tried checking the circuit breaker (which doesn't seem to have tripped) and  unplugging devices and testing them individually. Is there anything else I've missed?

Hi Minmus,

If the breaker has not been tripped check the display status and see if there is output voltage if there is output voltage you may have a hardware problem associated with the connections of the back panel where the UPS output is wired. Try both surge only and Battery backup outlets. Surge outlets should always be on even when UPS is powered off while battery back up outlets only gets powered when UPS is on.

Try  disconnecting  UPS from utility then remove batteries press power button making sure to remove any residual power which will initiate a logic /Brain dead reset on the UPS

The cold start UPS to see if UPS runs on battery by connecting battery and powering it on. After if powers on and plug UPS to see if UPS will switch from on battery to online.

Braindead procedure

If the issue is not resolved take note of the Input and output voltage of the UPS and the model number and serial found on the bottom of the UPS you may need to provide this to the next representative.
