I just purchased a BN1500M2, everything was working fine and had all the features including the Powerchute Serial Shutdown (via included USB) set up.
Asides from doing a first self-test, I unplugged to do a real-life test to confirm everything was working as intended.
The issue: On the test everything was working correctly till I plugged it back in. When plugging back in it loses communication with the PC/USB, triggering an on battery communication loss shutdown. The communication only being restored when the PC is turned back on. I tried again, and it did it again. I am considering removing the shutdown during communication loss on battery function, if I have no other option as I do not want the computer to shut down during power blips. Let me know if anyone has any ideas of something I am missing.
Here is the log of the first event, the second is the same:

How do you have the shutdown setting set? Example: UPS is on battery for 2 minutes, at the runtime limit.
