BI800 APC Home Invertor is not working. I tried to reset it but reset is also not working. All lights are OFF.
Actually 2 days before, when we came back to home after a small walk, I smelled a bad odour near my invertor and all lights are Off. I made the connections direct and disconnected the invertor.
I unscrew the invertor to check the connections and I found that the reset button is not connected to any wire. Everything else looked fine because there is nothing that looked swollen or black. Then I checked the battery water, it was below red level. So, I guess invertor stopped working due to overload.
But, now, I want to reset my invertor but since the reset button is not connected to any board, I am not able to do that. I need the circuit diagram of BI800 APC Home Invertor or the snapshot of reset button connections. So that I could fix it.

Hello,
For quickest response, I'd suggest contacting the local India support office. That unit I think is only sold in India and those of us here are based in North America and don't have any detail beyond what is on apc.com specific to the BI800. I don't know if anyone else who views this post has any information but I'd have to ask India support just like I suggested for you to do. Though in general, we typically don't provide schematics as they are proprietary. If this unit is under a warranty too, it sounds like it would need to be replaced..
